The Vietnam Tourism and Culture Festival in Japan is about to take place.
This is an opportunity for Vietnam to promote and introduce its unique products to the world, call for cooperation in many fields in the future, and at the same time strengthen cultural exchange between the two countries, introducing Vietnamese culture to the Japanese people and the Vietnamese community in Japan.

The festival will include activities such as performances of traditional folk music and dance and a traditional fashion show (organized and performed by the Vietnam National Opera, Ballet and Light Music Theatre); and a photo exhibition "Vietnam - Endless Beauty" featuring photographs celebrating the beauty of Vietnam's land, people, culture, heritage, and handicrafts, costumes, and cuisine (selected and displayed by the Department of Fine Arts and Photography).
The highlight of the festival is the "Meet Vietnam" area, featuring over 70 food stalls showcasing characteristic dishes from various regions of Vietnam, traditional handicrafts, and famous landmarks of the country.
The dance troupe, comprising 22 artists, will present captivating performances to the Japanese people through traditional Vietnamese dances and music.
The 2012 festival also featured fruit and vegetable carving artisans, bringing a unique aspect of Vietnamese culture to the Japanese people.
The first Vietnam Festival in Japan, held in 2008, attracted nearly 150,000 participants and has since become a major event promoting cultural exchange between the two countries. This year's festival marks the 5th anniversary and further strengthens the close relationship between Vietnam and Japan, and is an important event leading up to the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan in 2013.
