Scaffolding collapsed at night, 2 people injured and died
While a worker was eating noodles at the foot of the construction site, the awning collapsed, pulling the construction scaffolding down, killing the worker and injuring the noodle seller.
Initial information, at around 9:00 p.m. on November 22, when a worker supervising the construction site of house number 25/21 Ton That Tung Street, Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City was eating noodles near the construction site, the scaffolding suddenly collapsed.
The incident resulted in the death of this male worker. The noodle seller was also injured and was quickly taken to the hospital by local people for emergency treatment.

According to the people around, this 4-story house was undergoing repairs and renovations. At the time of the incident, part of the front roof of the building fell, causing the scaffolding covering the structure from the 2nd to 4th floors of the building to fall into the alley, hitting the 2 victims mentioned above.
Upon receiving the news, District 1 authorities quickly arrived, sealed off the scene, and took the victim's body outside to assist with the investigation. The alley was also strictly sealed off. Rescue forces were also dispatched to the scene to search inside the rubble.
As of 11pm, the scene was still cordoned off, and electricity in the area was cut off. District 1 leaders were also present to direct the recovery work.
The cause of this very serious work accident is still being investigated.
