According to the project submitted by Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) to the Ministry of Transport (MOT), the establishment of Aviation Security LLC will be an independent accounting company. ACV will own this company and provide 100% of the charter capital to the company when it is established.
Once established, the company will provide aviation security services and implement aviation security control measures; handle security violations and respond to illegal interference in aviation activities at airports in Vietnam.
Legally, Aviation Security Company Limited will be subject to the direction, guidance, inspection, examination and supervision of the Ministry of Transport, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and the airport authority in accordance with the provisions of law. At the same time, it will be subject to the inspection and supervision of ACV as the owner in complying with the provisions of law on ensuring aviation security and the quality of aviation security services.
To ensure that the Aviation Security Company operates immediately after its establishment, ACV also plans to transfer all of the workforce, functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the aviation security force unit from ACV to this company.
According to the plan issued by the Ministry of Transport in December 2017, the establishment of Aviation Security LLC will be carried out in the first quarter of 2018.
