Bank teller wall collapses, one person dies.

(Baonghean.vn) - While demolishing a wall at the Tho Yen branch of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district), a person was crushed to death by the wall.

The victim has been identified as Mr. Nguyen Van Ky (born in 1962), residing in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district.

On August 2nd, the Thọ Thành commune authorities confirmed the above information. Accordingly, the incident occurred at around 9:00 AM on August 1st, at which time Mr. and Mrs. Kỷ were participating in demolishing the wall of the former Thọ Yên branch office (belonging to the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank).

During the course of his work, Mr. Ky was crushed to death when a 3.5-meter-high wall collapsed on him. His wife was fortunate enough to have gone outside at the time and escaped unharmed.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities quickly arrived to handle the incident.

Today (August 2nd), the family held a funeral for the victim.
