Regarding the next work arrangement for Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh, Da Nang is waiting for instructions from the Central Government.

The information was discussed by Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Truong Quang Nghia with the press on the sidelines of the National Assembly this morning.

Mr. Nghia said that after the Da Nang City People's Council dismissed him from his position as Chairman of the City People's Council and his status as a People's Council delegate, Mr. Xuan Anh was only a pure party member.

Regarding the next work arrangement for Mr. Xuan Anh, Secretary of the City Party Committee Truong Quang Nghia said that this matter is still awaiting the direction of the Central Committee because Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh is still a former member of the Party Central Committee, under the authority of the Secretariat.

"The arrangement also depends on the wishes of Mr. Xuan Anh to participate in which party organization," Mr. Nghia said.

Previously, at the extraordinary session this morning, the Da Nang City People's Council voted to approve the proposal to dismiss Mr. Xuan Anh from the position of Chairman of the People's Council and City People's Council delegate. Mr. Xuan Anh was absent for family reasons.
