Murdered girlfriend after sex

Taking his new girlfriend to a motel to have sex, a young man in Ca Mau strangled her to death because she was stopped from sniffing industrial glue.

On November 2, Ca Mau Provincial Police arrested Vo Hong Truong (26 years old) for murder.

According to the initial investigation, Truong met the 16-year-old girl in Ca Mau City more than two weeks ago. Yesterday morning, he rode his motorbike from U Minh district to the city to fix a gas stove, then went to his drinking friend's house.

After the party, Truong called his girlfriend and invited her to a motel in Thanh Phu commune (Cai Nuoc district) to have sex. Discovering he was sniffing industrial glue, the girl reacted.

"While high on cocaine, Truong pressed down on the victim and strangled her to death. He took her body into the bathroom, put her face down in a bucket of water to create a fake scene and then fled," said the investigator.
