Serious landslide on inter-commune road in Quynh Luu

The landslide was about 100 meters long, eating into the asphalt road in some places about 50 cm. The landslide pulled up the roadside markers, and the road railing tilted into the canal.

A truck driver passing by here said: The landslide is very dangerous, two vehicles avoiding each other at this section can easily cause an accident.

Mr. Ho Xuan Xuyen - Chairman of Quynh Thanh Commune People's Committee said: Thach - Thanh - Luong route is a key route managed by Quynh Luu District People's Committee with a length of 6.7 km. The landslide point in Hamlet 1, Quynh Thanh Commune is over 100 meters long, currently the commune has put up ropes and cordoned off the dangerous area.

The cause of the landslide on this road was due to the continuous rain in the past few days, causing the water level in Ben Hai canal to rise. Quynh Thanh commune has sent a written report to the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district to have a timely repair plan.
