Dien Chau District Police have just broken up a gambling den at the private home of Truong Van Ky (born 1985), residing in Hamlet 6, Nam Lam, Dien Lam Commune (Dien Chau), temporarily detaining 6 suspects and related evidence, including 16.4 million VND, 1 deck of cards, 6 motorbikes, 8 cell phones and some other evidence.

The identities of the subjects were identified as: Truong Van Ky (born 1985), the homeowner; Vu Hoai Lim (born 1976); Nguyen Xuan Thanh (born 1983); Nguyen Cong Kieu (born 1985); Tran Manh Ha (born 1965) and Hoang Ngoc Thanh (born 1982), all residing in Hamlet 6, Nam Lam, Dien Lam Commune (Dien Chau).

Previously, from information from the masses, Dien Chau District Police detectives got involved and discovered that at Truong Van Ky's private home, gamblers often gathered to gamble with each other. However, to destroy this gambling den was not easy, because Ky's house was designed to be high-rise, modern, and very difficult to enter and exit.

The house was surrounded by barbed wire, making it difficult for the detectives to break in. Every time they gambled, Ky did not allow any strangers to join the gambling table.

On May 27, the final match of the European Cup C1 took place. The Dien Chau District Police decided to crack the case after realizing that the subjects would organize gambling at Ky's private home. After many hours of organizing an ambush, at 00:00 on the same day, realizing that the "opportunity" had come, 3 working groups with 3 different positions quickly raided, controlled the gamblers, and did not let any subjects escape.

At the investigation agency, the subjects confessed that before the match, this group organized a drinking party and then set up a gambling table before being arrested.
