After the Super Cup, Dinh Thanh Trung wants to win the AFF Cup 2018
The captain of Quang Nam Club, the team that just won 2 V.League Championship trophies and the National Super Cup, affirmed that he will not rest on his laurels.
"I do not set a personal title goal for myself in the new season. For me, the team's achievements always come first. I will try to improve myself to help my teammates realize their desire to win the regional championship in 2018," said Dinh Thanh Trung.
On the happiest day of his football career, the midfielder who had faced many difficulties under Mr. Kien wanted to thank his mother and wife, who always gave him the enthusiasm to overcome countless difficulties to pursue his football career.
"My family is the strongest support that helps me overcome all difficulties in my career. On this happy day, I want to thank my mother, wife and son," Dinh Thanh Trung shared.

A notable new point of the AFF Cup 2018 is that there will be no host country for the group stage like previous tournaments.
Instead, in the group stage, each team will play 4 matches, including 2 home matches and 2 away matches according to the AFF draw. The first and second-placed teams in each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
The semi-finals and finals are still played in a two-legged format (home and away) to determine the winning team based on the overall result (with the away goals rule applied).
According to the plan, the draw ceremony for the AFF 2018 competition schedule will be held by AFF in May 2018.
