(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 28, comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee continued to chair a meeting with the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and departments, branches and sectors on socio-economic development in the province.

| Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Le Quang Huy, Nguyen Van Thong and comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of the Central Party Committees and Offices and departments and branches. |
Continuing the meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, delegates listened to and gave their opinions on the report on the results of 1 year of implementing Directive No. 13/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening the responsibility of state management of food safety in Nghe An province.
Regarding the content of asking for opinions from the Provincial People's Committee on solutions to reorganize and convert agricultural and forestry companies, after the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development presented the plans, the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that it is necessary to carefully review the implementation of solutions to ensure the progress of conversion and equitization of 12 agricultural and forestry units on the basis of harmonizing interests and creating momentum for development. In this area, the Provincial People's Committee will continue to review and submit to the Standing Committee in the next meeting.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also approved the contents of the 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council. This session continues to implement solutions to promote the People's Council's supervisory function in various fields and the key content of this session's supervision is sustainable poverty reduction in the province in the period of 2012 - 2016.
The 4th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council will take place from July 11 to 13 with the contents of assessing the socio-economic situation in the province in the first 6 months of 2017 and discussing and issuing important resolutions. The session will also elect additional Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Council, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture - Society and some contents under the authority of the Provincial People's Council.

On the afternoon of June 28, the Provincial Party Standing Committee also listened to and commented on the report on the results of 10 years of implementing Directive 17-CT/TW dated October 15, 2007 of the Secretariat on "Continuing to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of oral propaganda work in the new situation".
Based on a realistic assessment, the Provincial Party Standing Committee agrees with the solutions to continue to improve oral propaganda and all information channels about the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh suggested that all levels of sectors, with the core being the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, need to be more thorough and resolute in propaganda work, condemning and fighting against false arguments, distorting history, opposing the Party and the State; at the same time, propagandizing to the people, especially the youth, so that they understand the history and value of national solidarity to build a strong and prosperous homeland.
Also at the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee reviewed and approved the content of the proposal to reward cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and discussed personnel work.
