In fact, E-Volo has been designing a flying car for several years. In 2011, E-Volo tested the vertical takeoff and landing of the flying vehicle. Last year, its flying car prototype was tested in the air.
The company's latest flying car model is the Volocopter, which was just launched at the AERO air show in Germany. The device has 18 large propellers, powered by 9 large lithium-ion batteries. The device can reach a flying speed of 99km/h.

The Volocopter can carry two passengers and fly autonomously with preset modes. It also has a joystick that allows manual control.

In case of an emergency, the manufacturer has equipped the flying taxi with a parachute, allowing passengers to land easily on the ground.
