Will enforce and protect the construction of some households that do not relocate to clear the site of Vinh sub-urban project

| That was the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien to relevant units and localities during the field inspection of the progress of bidding packages under the Vinh Urban Development Sub-project on the morning of June 20. Accompanying were representatives of the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Construction, Vinh City People's Committee, and Hung Nguyen District. |
The 35m road connecting National Highway 46 with the Lam River road belongs to the Vinh Urban Sub-project, the route has a length of 8.2km. According to the plan, the deadline for completing the site clearance work is June 30. However, there are still 4 households in Nghi An commune, 35 households in Nghi Duc commune and 1 household in Hung Hoa commune that have not yet received compensation and handed over the site. The most complicated part is still the section through Xuan Hoa and Xuan Dong hamlets, Nghi Duc commune.

The situation is that because some households refuse to hand over the land, it affects the progress of the project. The Vinh ancient citadel moat renovation package still has 11 problems. The reservoir project in Hung Hoa commune has 500m of embankment and access road that has to stop construction because of the need to resolve land complaints from 7 households; there are even cases where the land owner has handed over the land but some other households have come out to prevent the construction.
Through field inspection, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien acknowledged the efforts of relevant units and localities in clearing land at some long-standing difficult and complicated locations. For example, Nam Phuc Long hamlet in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district; areas belonging to automobile enterprises 5, Vinh locomotive enterprise...
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that localities and the Project Management Board, in addition to persistently mobilizing people to hand over the site, also need to urge construction units to speed up the progress and complete the items. Ensure that the site clearance work must be completed by the end of June. As for some households that refuse to comply and still deliberately obstruct the construction, the localities are required to take the lead in developing a plan to enforce and protect the construction...
