In what cases will the Russian presidential election results be canceled?
"When it is discovered that the winner of the election has unclosed foreign accounts, it will be a reason to declare that the results of the vote for them are invalid," - said Ella Pamfilova, Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission of Russia.

A similar situation with the losing candidate will not affect the election process, it will be resolved by tax law, now there are 22 administrative violations in this area, - added the head of the Central Election Commission of Russia.
Ms. Pamfilova expressed this opinion on the "Echo of Moscow" radio station when commenting on the situation with the foreign account of candidate Pavel Grudinin.
Recently, the Russian Central Election Commission received information from the Federal Tax Service that at the time of applying for the election, Mr. Grudinin had 13 accounts in Switzerland. However, the Central Election Commission stated that it had no grounds to consider canceling the candidate's registration, since the review was based on the documents bearing the candidate's signature and the declaration submitted when registering, guaranteeing that he did not own financial instruments abroad.
