Will organize a campaign with the theme 'Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's advice'

On the morning of May 16, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held an online conference on the topic "Historical significance and eternal value of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament; outstanding results after 50 years of implementing his Testament".

At the conference, the leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department presented the draft Plan to organize an activity with the theme: "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's instructions" to celebrate 50 years of implementing Uncle Ho's last letter to the Nghe An Provincial Party Executive Committee (July 21, 1969 - July 21, 2019), 50 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament (1969 - 2019), towards the 130th anniversary of his birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2020) to collect opinions from affiliated Party Committees.

The activity was organized with the aim of creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to successfully carry out political tasks; organizing extensive political activities on the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the nation, country, Vietnamese revolution and world proletarian revolution; affirming the profound theoretical and practical significance and value of the Testament and Ho Chi Minh's thought in the current cause of national construction and defense.

The activity with the theme "Nghe An follows Uncle Ho's teachings" aims to raise the responsibility of the entire Party Committee, armed forces and people of the whole province in implementing his Testament; promote studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, creating a strong change in awareness and action.

The implementation of activities will be associated with emulation movements to successfully carry out political, economic, social, defense, security, Party building and foreign affairs tasks in the spirit of the 12th Party Congress Resolution and the political tasks of the province.

Activities are organized to ensure solemnity, creativity, practicality, effectiveness, and meaning, avoiding ostentation and formality.

The peak competition period is expected to take place in 12 months (from May 2019 to the end of May 2020), divided into 2 phases, from May to September 2019 (peak in July 2019); phase 2 from October 2019 to the end of May 2020 (peak in May 2020).

According to the plan, in the emulation periods, specific activities will be organized such as: organizing political activities for cadres, party members, union members, and association members on the meaning and value of the content of Uncle Ho's last letter to the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An province and President Ho Chi Minh's Testament; inaugurating and putting into use a number of key projects and works; starting construction of new key practical economic and social development projects and works...
