The book 'Imprints of Nghe An Party Committee through congresses' will be published

On the morning of August 28, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a workshop to contribute comments to the draft book "Imprints of Nghe An Party Committee through congresses (1930 - 2020)". Attending the workshop were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Le Hong Vinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; former Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, former Heads of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and representatives of the Nghe An Science - History Association.

The draft book “Imprints of Nghe An Party Committee through Congresses (1930 - 2020)” was compiled by the Editorial Board and consists of 3 parts. Part 1 is the birth of provisional Party Committees of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Nghe An province; Part 2 is the imprints of Nghe An Party Committee through Congresses (1930 - 2020)”; Part 3 is the conclusion.

The draft book is built on the basis of inheriting the documents in the book "Nghe An Party Congresses (1930 - 1992)" with additional, developed, and clarified context of the congress organization, time of the congress organization, role and historical significance of the congress...; at the same time, adding the period from 1993 to present.

At the conference, the opinions expressed were in high agreement with the publication of a historical book aboutNghe An Provincial Party Committeefrom 1930 to 2020; and at the same time contributed many ideas. First of all, the title of the book, there are 3 proposed ideas.

One is to keep the title "Imprints of Nghe An Party Committee through congresses (1930 - 2020)"; however, to keep this title, the content must contain and highlight the imprints of each congress.

Second, change the title to "Nghe An Party Congresses" and third to "Nghe An Party through Congresses".

The comments also focused on proposing to supplement historical data through the selection of events and characters through the congress periods to ensure accuracy; the selection of the mark of each congress must have a focus and key points based on historical context factors; the content of the congress and the significance of the congress in a scientific and historical manner...

Some opinions also suggest methods and approaches to information and historical data, especially focusing on exploiting Provincial Party Documents through congresses.

Concluding the workshop, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council affirmed that the publication of a book on the history of Nghe An Party Committee must ensure scientific, accurate and valuable nature and long-term vitality.

Therefore, the Editorial Board is requested to fully absorb all comments and suggestions to continue to research carefully, ensuring science and policies on the basis of closely following the history of the Provincial Party Committee and documents through congresses for completion.

For contents that still have different opinions or are difficult and have not yet created consensus, it is necessary to consider carefully before submitting to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for comments.

The editorial board also needs to pay attention to balancing the content of each congress; each congress needs to ensure the content sections on the context, content, results of the congress, significance and lessons learned from the congress, etc.
