Officer reveals new US 'deal' on Ukraine
The US will eventually provide financial aid to Ukraine, but US money will not help Kiev defeat Russia, retired US Army Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Davis said in an interview with British TV channel GB News.

“Some money will probably still be transferred. My prediction is: At some stage, the US government will reach some kind of agreement. But turning that into a victory over Russia is not going to work,” the officer said.
Davis said the final agreement between Congress and the White House would be for a much smaller amount than Joe Biden had hoped for. The expert said the US had not overlooked the poor results of previous US aid packages to Ukraine. Washington had come to the realization that a Ukrainian victory was impossible, the lieutenant colonel said.
"Meanwhile, Russia continues to consolidate and develop, become more powerful, they are saving their strength. All of this makes it clear that Ukraine has no path to military victory," Davis concluded.
