Tighten management, prevent commercial fraud
(Baonghean.vn) - In preparation for the 2018 Lunar New Year, the issue of tightening management of trade fraud was mentioned at the October 2017 Internal Affairs Conference on the morning of October 20.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of departments, branches and sectors under the Internal Affairs sector. |
During the month, the sectors in the bloc coordinated and implemented well the tasks of the unit, contributing to stabilizing the political security situation and social order and safety. The functional forces proactively grasped the situation, advised the Party Committee and the government to effectively resolve incidents related to Catholicism, disputes and complaints among the people, and prevented complications from occurring and forming "hot spots" of security and order.
Crime prevention and suppression work was carried out vigorously, the rate of investigation of crimes violating social order was high (82.7%). Many major drug cases were eliminated, a large amount of evidence was seized; 55 cases were discovered and 74 subjects were arrested, 10.3 kg of heroin, 125 grams and 13,456 synthetic drug pills were seized, 2.01 kg of crystal meth, 5 kg of marijuana were seized. Typically, the provincial police caught 3 subjects residing in Yen Thanh and Con Cuong for illegal drug trafficking; 20 heroin cakes, 1 kg of crystal meth, 12,000 synthetic drug pills were seized.

Regarding crimes and violations of economic and environmental laws, it is noteworthy that on October 10, 2017, the Provincial Police coordinated with the Department of Science and Technology and Department A70 of the Ministry of Public Security to arrest and clarify the acts of mixing and publishing poor quality A92 gasoline of Thanh Ngu Company Limited and Kien Luc Private Enterprise.
However, during the month, the security and order situation still had complicated incidents, and the activities of criminal gangs became increasingly aggressive. The execution of judgments was still slow in some cases, especially those related to credit and banking.

In that context, the conference agreed on a number of key tasks for November 2017, such as strengthening the work of grasping the situation, resolving new issues arising from the grassroots, especially issues related to the religious situation in the area. Directing the resolute resolution of religious violations to deter and propagate, contributing to limiting violations in the field of land in parishes and religious groups in the area.
Strengthen forest protection, strictly handle illegal forest exploitation, illegal conversion and transfer of forestry land in the province. Strengthen management of commercial fraud, food safety violations, trade in counterfeit goods, fake goods, and firecrackers during the preparation period for Tet 2018.
