Supermodel Minh Tu officially becomes Asia's Next Top Coach

On the evening of August 22, the first episode of Asia's Next Top Model aired with Vietnam's representative Rima Thanh Vy.

Previously, the news that Minh Tu, Shikin and Monika would return to the 6th season was also an interesting mystery of the program, but the production unit has not revealed the roles of these 3 runners-up. After the first episode, Asia's Next Top Model season 6 brought the audience a completely new theme "Beyond the Limits". Accordingly, Minh Tu, Shikin, Monika officially became the Coaches of the program.

Here, the 12 contestants will be divided into 3 teams, each team has 4 members. The task of the coaches is to use their experience, skills and courage to give professional advice as well as demonstrate challenges for the contestants on their team.

In addition, after each challenge, 3 coaches will give feedback on the performance of each contestant in the team.

This is also the basis for host Cindy to choose who stays or who leaves.

In the first episode, out of 14 contestants who took the catwalk challenge in the famous weekend market in Bangkok - Chatuchack, 2 contestants, Lana representing Thailand and Hody from Hong Kong, were eliminated in the first round because they had the lowest scores.

From 12 contestants, the program's organizers will randomly select 4 contestants to form 1 team. Members of Minh Tu's team include: Adela - Philippines, Beauty - Myanmar, Pim - Thailand and the youngest contestant Han - Hong Kong.

After receiving members for her team, Minh Tu immediately had a team meeting to get acquainted and share her experiences as well as prepare the members mentally for the photoshoot challenge.

Supermodel Minh Tu frankly shared: "Everyone here has their own strengths and weaknesses and what you need to do is always try to overcome those weaknesses."

Commenting on each member of the team, Minh Tu gave advice to Pim - the representative from Thailand: "You need to know which angle of your face is suitable for high fashion photos, which angle of your face is suitable for advertising and market photos to exploit your strengths well."

Regarding Beauty - the representative from Myanmar, one of the contestants considered the strongest of the season, Minh Tu said that not only she but also photographers and designers will be very impressed with Beauty's beauty. Minh Tu confided in Beauty that when she knew she had little experience in modeling, the supermodel advised her team's contestant to put everything aside and show everything she had.

Immediately after hearing coach Minh Tu's advice, Beauty was moved to tears and promised to try her best to perform well in her competitions.

Coming to the photoshoot for the first episode with the theme “Wild things”. The contestants of Minh Tu’s team, Adela, Beauty, Pim and Han, were chosen by photographer YuTsai to be animals such as salamanders, snakes and crocodiles. However, the representative from Singapore was a bit scared and burst into tears right at the beginning of the photoshoot. Han’s tears in the photoshoot caught the attention of coach Minh Tu.

Immediately, Minh Tu had a small conversation with Han to lift her spirits: "I know there are things that will haunt you, but this is the first challenge. You have to believe in yourself that you can do it and turn fear into motivation and fight for this challenge."

At the end of the first episode, Minh Tu's team kept the number of 4 members of their team and the excellent Beauty contestant won the first FCO in the program.
