The one-of-a-kind BMW M4 DTM supercar arrives in Vietnam.
The high-performance coupe version of the C-segment sedan, the BMW M4 DTM, upgraded to racing standards, has just arrived at Saigon port.

More than 50 of the 5,000 auxiliary parts that make up the BMW M4 DTM are components BMW specifically manufactures for racing. One of these is the carbon fiber chassis, which sets the standard for safety in motorsport. The robust, integrated frame, like a steel roll cage, along with components such as the gearbox, clutch, shock absorbers, and rear wing, allows the BMW M4 DTM to best protect the driver from injury in the event of an accident.
The BMW plant in Landshut is responsible for the majority of the high-tech casting of components such as cylinder heads and engine casings. These parts are then processed, coated, and heat-treated in Munich. The V8 engine produces around 480 horsepower and is the powerful "heart" of the BMW M4 DTM.
The engine's power is transmitted to the wheels via a 6-speed sports gearbox.It offers 11 specific settings, allowing engineers and drivers to react and adjust differently depending on the engine mode on different tracks.

The BMW M4 DTM features exterior modifications that ensure strong aerodynamics. Additionally, the eye-catching front end, hood, and roof are redesigned to reduce the front surface area and minimize aerodynamic drag. The prominent rearview mirrors with integrated turn signals on the BMW M4 DTM are also modified to ensure rapid airflow to the rear. A large rear wing keeps the car firmly on the road.
BMW Motorsport engineers began developing the BMW M4 DTM before the racetrack started. DTM stands for..."Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters" is a racing series for cars based on popular passenger car platforms.
The racing cars used are all high-performance coupe versions of luxury C-segment sedans, modified and upgraded to suit the racing format, namely the BMW M4 DTM, Audi RS5 DTM, and Mercedes-AMG C 63 DTM.
