The first McLaren 720S supercar arrives in Vietnam

The British supercar brand owns a 710 horsepower V8 biturbo engine that has just arrived in Vietnam.

The privately imported McLaren 720S supercar arrived at VICT port, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, just a few months after its first debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. Before the 720S, Vietnamese tycoons had brought home supercars such as the 570S and 650S.

Belongs to the Super Series,720S is a product that applies the new design language ofMcLaren, promoting aerodynamic efficiency while being more angular and aggressive than previous models.

The new supercar uses a Monocage II chassis with carbon and aluminum materials, which is stiffer and lighter than the Monocell that McLaren used. The 720S weighs 1,283 kg, 18 kg lighter than its brother, the McLaren 650.

The 720S's appearance still bears the McLaren mark with curves on the hood and body. The front has a low front bumper that increases downforce. LED headlights with horizontal daytime running lights.3-position adjustable rear spoiler.

McLaren 720s

The interior of McLaren's new supercar is heavily influenced by the 570S. The 8-inch infotainment screen and driver-oriented function controls. The dashboard behind the steering wheel can be folded down or raised if the driver wants to monitor more parameters.

The McLaren 720S supercar uses a 4-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, 710 horsepower, and maximum torque of 770 Nm.

The car accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, 0-200 km/h in 7.8 seconds and 0-300 km/h in 21.8 seconds. Maximum speed 341 km/h. Suspension system with 3 modes including Comfort, Sport and Track.

In Europe, the McLaren 720S supercar starts at $285,000. The car comes in three versions: standard, Luxury and Performance.
