Atletico's strategist does not want his players to enter the second leg of the semi-final with the goal of finding a draw.

Saul Niguez's solo effort gave Atletico a 1-0 lead after the first leg in Madrid. The result means a draw in the second leg will be enough to send Diego Simeone's men through to the final.

"I'm not ashamed to say I'm scared at this moment, like before any game," Simeone said at a press conference. "I told the players to go out and win. We know a draw is enough, but we can't think about that. Winning is the essence of a game."

Many people believe that Atletico's disciplined defense and counter-attacking style of play counters control-oriented teams like Barca and Bayern. However, coach Simeone refused to answer about the tactical factors of each team.

"I respect everyone's opinion. We have many reasons to play different football. The way we play depends a lot on the players we have, and I am very happy to work with the current squad," Simeone added. "My goal is to help the players reach their potential, not just how they play within the system."
