American student released by North Korea has died
Otto Warmbier, an American student recently released by North Korea, died in Ohio on June 19.
In a statement, the student's family said Warmbier (22 years old) passed away on the afternoon of June 19 (local time). Otto Warmbier was a student at the University of Virginia, arrested in early 2016 while in North Korea on a tour.

The student was sentenced to 15 years of hard labor in March 2016 after admitting to removing a propaganda banner from a Pyongyang hotel. He was released after more than 17 months in prison, and doctors said he had lost brain tissue in all areas of his brain./.
