Mr. Tran Linh:Nghe An currently has 28,421 students, the Provincial Student Association has 3 affiliated school-level Student Associations with 16 inter-associations, 463 branches with 20,083 members. It can be said that Nghe An is one of the provinces with a large student population in Vietnam.
In terms of qualities, Nghe An students are always proud of their hometown as a locality with a long history of formation and development, rich in revolutionary traditions and studious spirit. Nghe An is also the land that has produced many heroes, great men, famous generals, and historical figures for the country. From that pride, Nghe An students always strive to compete and practice to highlight the qualities of "diligence" and "studiousness" - virtues that are considered to be the traditions of Nghe people for generations.
Thanks to the hard-working learning process, Nghe An students have a solid knowledge foundation, the ability to be creative and adaptable to changing circumstances and work challenges.

In the context of international integration, international exchange activities between Nghe An students and foreign students have been effectively implemented by the Student Association at all levels. Through these activities, Nghe An students have proven themselves to be a sensitive, creative force with high adaptability to new environments.
In activities to equip and train students with social practice skills such as forums, fanpages, competitions, and training classes that combine skill training with volunteer activities, Nghe An students have also shown their ability to approach practice and their profound understanding of local and national culture.
Those are the typical differences and also the outstanding advantages of Nghe An students in adapting to the progress and development of society in recent times.

PV: During the past term, what important results have the Association and student movement of Nghe An province achieved?
Mr. Tran Linh:During the past term, the work of the Association and the student movement of Nghe An province has always received favorable conditions from the Party Committee, government, all levels, sectors and society to care for, educate and nurture students for comprehensive development.
In particular, the movement “5 Good Students” associated with the criteria: “Good study”, “Good morality”, “Good physical strength”, “Good volunteering”, “Good integration” has been focused on by the Association at all levels with many new and effective solutions. Up to now, this movement has become the main movement of Nghe An students, truly an ideal environment for students to strive, practice, contribute and mature.
During the past term, the whole province had 224 students achieving the title of “5 Good Students” at the provincial level; 770 students achieving the title of “5 Good Students” at the school level. Many new models were formed and promoted effectively in creating practical values for the movement after the title recognition step such as: “5 Good Students” Clubs at all levels, periodically organizing “5 Good Students Forum”, “5 Good Students Journey”.

Creative activities and scientific research among students have had positive changes in the direction of linking with practice and real needs. During the term, there were 2,438 scientific research topics for students at the faculty level, 452 topics at the school level and 20 research topics for students at the provincial and regional levels. Thereby, the creativity of members and students was promoted; many ideas, initiatives and scientific research topics for students were recorded and implemented in practice.
Scholarships for students in difficult circumstances and awards for students with achievements in study and training are regularly carried out. The Association's branches focus on maintaining and developing scholarship funds, awarding more than 5 billion VND to support more than 5,000 students who have overcome difficulties, in order to encourage and motivate students to strive in their studies.
Many cultural, artistic and sports activities have been developed widely, attracting the participation of a large number of students. Through these activities, students have been given the best conditions to develop their abilities in studying, training and improving their cultural and spiritual life.

PV: In your opinion, what significant changes will Nghe An students face in the coming time?
Mr. Tran Linh:Nghe An is aiming to become the center of the North Central region in terms of finance, high-tech industry, trade, tourism, education and training, science and technology, health care, culture, and sports. Therefore, it has, is, and will attract a large number of students to study.
Faced with the intertwined impact of the above favorable and challenging factors, the movement trends of Nghe An students in the period 2023 - 2028 highlight the following issues:
Firstly, the number of Nghe An students is increasing rapidly, strongly affected by the process of innovation and international integration. The ability to adapt and adjust to the dynamism and increasing demands of the market will also be one of the outstanding characteristics of Nghe An students in the coming years.
Second, the trend of starting a business among students is becoming more and more popular. The need for support in learning conditions, access to reality, support in living conditions, studying and participating in cultural activities, and improving the spiritual life of students is growing stronger.

Third, the entire political system of Nghe An province is striving to successfully implement Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045, thus requiring increasingly high quality human resources, especially professional qualifications, foreign languages, skills, professional working style and spirit of innovation and creativity to meet the development requirements of the province.
PV: Faced with these changes, what do you think the Association and the student force need to do to adapt and move forward firmly?
Mr. Tran Linh:The new context and situation requires the Student Association at all levels of Nghe An province to deploy many synchronous and drastic solutions to orient, guide, and accompany students in emulation to improve their morality, train their talents, volunteer, innovate, integrate, participate in scientific research, apply technology, and contribute to building Nghe An province into a well-off province in the country. In particular, the goal is to build the Vietnam Student Association of Nghe An province strong in politics, ideology, ethics, organization and action, truly an organization "of students, by students and for students".
The most important thing is to do a good job of gathering and uniting students to actively participate in the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland. At the same time, closely following the needs of students to organize good care and companionship activities, contributing to the formation of a new generation of students with ethics, cultural lifestyle, civilized behavior; with knowledge, health, and social practice skills suitable to the requirements of the era of science, technology and digital transformation.
Faced with social change, students will be the target of hostile forces, who will incite and lure them into activities against the Party and the State and disrupt social order and security. Therefore, it is necessary to have drastic, specific and scientific actions from all levels of the Association to quell this problem.

For the student force – one of the important nuclei of the digital transformation, it is necessary to accumulate knowledge and skills in information technology, proactively update and apply scientific and technical advances in work and life. In addition, it is necessary to cultivate foreign language skills, master soft skills and actively participate in social work.
These are the necessary provisions for students to successfully complete their goals in university as well as after graduation to meet the increasingly high demands of young human resources. From there, step into the future, contributing to realizing the goal of building and developing Nghe An province until 2030, with a vision to 2045 that the province is focusing on implementing.
