Nghe - Tinh students collect scrap metal to raise funds to support the homeless
(Baonghean.vn) - Recently, the Nghe Tinh Association at Hanoi University of Construction collected scrap metal and paper to sell to raise funds to support homeless people living in the capital.
In early October 2017, the Nghe Tinh Association at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering organized a collection of scrap metal, waste paper, etc. to raise funds to support homeless people currently living in Hanoi.
After collecting tons of scrap metal and paper and selling them for millions of dong, on the evening of October 8, the Volunteer Team under the Nghe Tinh Association divided its members to go to each alley, corner, and lane to give gifts to the homeless. 30 gifts, each worth 100,000 dong, were personally handed to the homeless by the association members.

This is one of the familiar volunteer activities of the Nghe Tinh Association at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in the past 3 years.
Most recently, in December 2016, in conjunction with the Nghe An Youth Association in Hanoi, the association organized the "Warm Border" program towards Ban Cu, Quang Phong commune (Que Phong district, Nghe An) and presented 100 million VND and many meaningful gifts.
