Whenever she has free time, student Hoang Thi Thom and her group of friends go to the bus station to receive banh gai sent from her hometown to sell to her schoolmates and passersby on Highway 5, passing through the Agricultural Academy (Gia Lam - Hanoi). The money from selling banh gai is collected by the young people to raise funds to prepare for a charity trip to their hometown.

The new banh gai stall has just appeared but has attracted quite a lot of customers. Knowing the good intentions of the students, many people have come to "support". The members of the Liaison Committee of Nghe An Compatriots Association of the Agricultural Academy also sell online and deliver the cakes to customers near the school. "We only take advantage of after school hours and weekends because we are all students" - a member of the group shared.
Not only gai cake, Nghe An students also sell cucumbers and other agricultural products that are the results of graduation theses of agricultural students. All are grown according to the process of safe vegetables for consumers, so they are very popular. "This is our main product. But unfortunately, supply cannot meet demand," a student shared.

When not selling gai, the students also collect scrap metal and sell fresh flowers on holidays to raise funds for charity. Dang Thi Hong Phuong - Head of this volunteer group said that the young people have currently earned more than 10 million VND from selling gai cakes and clean agricultural products. All will be donated to charity activities in the highlands of Nghe An.
