SLNA lends former U23 Vietnam player to Long An

Currently, the Nghe An team owns many good full-backs such as Xuan Manh, Dinh Hoang, Ngoc Duc, Manh Hung... At Vinh Stadium, Van Manh will have difficulty competing for a starting position, so the SLNA club leaders have decided to lend this player to Long An club for 1 year.

The goal of former champion Long An is nothing other than promotion to V.League 2019 and borrowing Van Manh from SLNA shows the great determination of this team's leadership in the 2018 First Division season.

The 1993-born defender of SLNA used to play for XSKT Can Tho (2014) and Dong Nai (2015) on loan and returned from the 2016 season. Nguyen Van Manh is one of many faces from SLNA that coach Toshiya Miura chose to go to Korea to attend the 17th Asian Games.

Despite the “surplus crisis” of defenders, SLNA is lacking a goalkeeper. The Nghe An team has just decided to borrow goalkeeper Phan Dinh Vu Hai from Hai Phong and this goalkeeper from Ha Tinh is still on trial at Vinh Stadium.

Saying goodbye to Minh Duc, Van Vinh has retired, Phi Son has arrived at Ho Chi Minh City and foreign player Danko Kovacevic, SLNA's squad has 25 players left, not counting goalkeeper Vu Hai if he signs a contract and a foreign player slot. Most likely Van Manh will be the only player to leave SLNA because the Nghe An team is competing in all 3 fronts: V.League, National Cup and AFC Cup.
