SLNA successfully retains goalkeeper Nguyen Manh
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the confirmation of General Director Ho Van Chiem, the 1-year contract between SLNA and goalkeeper Nguyen Manh has been completed.
Thus, goalkeeper Nguyen Manh is the 10th player to sign a new contract with the Nghe An team this season. Before that, there were Nguyen Sy Nam, Ho Sy Sam, Cao Xuan Thang, Nguyen Quang Tinh, Hoang Van Binh, Tran Dinh Dong and the trio of foreign players Memovic - Alves - Olaha.
This is the second time the goalkeeper from Do Luong has signed a contract with SLNA, the last time was at the end of the 2015 season (a 3-year contract). Nguyen Manh's return helps SLNA's coaching staff solve the problem of the "goalkeeper" position, after goalkeeper Vu Hai returned to Hai Phong.

Currently, Nguyen Manh has completely recovered from his injury. Last season, the 28-year-old goalkeeper broke his arm in the match between Tampines Rovers and SLNA in the group stage of the 2018 AFC Cup. With that injury, the number 1 goalkeeper of the Vietnam National Team at the 2016 AFF Cup had to sit out the entire season.
Hopefully, goalkeeper Nguyen Manh will play excellently, contributing to helping the Nghe An team achieve more success in the next season. It is very likely that the goalkeeper born in 1991 will continue to play the role of captain of SLNA this season./.
