SLNA is busy preparing for the 1/8 round of the National Cup and the second leg of V.League 2017

(Baonghean.vn) – Yesterday afternoon and this morning (May 27), coach Nguyen Duc Thang and his team continuously had training sessions to prepare for the match against Hanoi in the 1/8 round of the National Cup.

Players Van Duc, Ngoc Duc, Ngoc Toan and Dinh Hoang still have to practice with separate training programs. In particular, right-back Dinh Hoang has fully recovered from his injury, however, the coaching board still allows him to extend his recovery time to have the best possible return.

The second leg of V.League 2017 will begin on June 24 with SLNA hosting Than Quang Ninh at home. However, Dinh Hoang is expected to play in the away match against Quang Nam in round 15 or Ho Chi Minh City in round 16.

In recent training sessions, SLNA's coaching staff boldly arranged for goalkeeper Tran Van Tien and striker Nguyen Viet Nguyen, who have ideal physiques, to experiment in the center-back position.

Although they have not really played successfully because they have many problems with acceleration and interception, these two players have good aerial ability because they are both nearly 1m90 tall. In the first leg, Tran Van Tien did not have the opportunity to compete with his seniors.

The most worrying thing is still the foreign players, up to this point the players who have come to Vinh Stadium for trial have not met the requirements. The Nghe An team will choose another foreign player with real quality to improve the team's finishing in the second leg.

On June 2, SLNA will travel to Hanoi to prepare for the match against Hanoi Club in the National Cup taking place on June 4 at My Dinh Stadium.
