SLNA ranked second in Group B after 3 matches of the 2022 National U19 qualifying round

Coming to this year's tournament, U19 SLNA did not have many outstanding players. Names such as Dinh Xuan Tien, Hoang Van Bach, Thai Ba Quyen, Ho Van Cuong... did not participate. Therefore, coach Dinh Van Dung's team did not play convincingly. In the opening match against U19 Hue, U19 SLNA only got 1 point and could not score any goals. Entering the second match against U19 Nutifood, the Nghe An team only had a 1-1 draw. Therefore, in order to have hope of advancing further into the tournament, U19 SLNA must win against U19 Nam Dinh.

In the match that took place this afternoon, coach Dinh Van Dung's students had to work very hard to get a minimal victory against the team from Thanh Nam.

The only goal scorer of the match was Tran Nam Hai. The striker wearing the number 22 shirt scored from a distance of more than 30m. The shot was strong and tricky, leaving the goalkeeper of Nam Dinh helpless. Overall, throughout the match, U19 SLNA was the team that had better ball control, but did not have as many opportunities as Nam Dinh. At the end of the match, although the team from Thanh Nam tried very hard to push up their formation, they could not score against SLNA and had to accept defeat with a close score.

With this victory, U19 SLNA temporarily ranked second in Group B after the first leg of the 2022 National U19 Qualifiers. U19 Nutifood team also got 5 points but had a better sub-index, temporarily leading the group. After 3 matches, Nam Dinh only got 1 point and temporarily stood at the bottom of the group./.
