How much do smartphones and tablets make your children 'bewildered'?
Many parents are struggling with their children’s “smartphone addiction”. Many children can be glued to their electronic devices to the point of forgetting to eat and sleep.
Recently, food company Dolmio conducted an experiment during family dinner to demonstrate the shocking reality of children being too "addicted" to electronic devices.

Accordingly, 4 children aged between 8 and 10 were filmed with a hidden camera while sitting at the dining table. In the video, the children seemed to be completely oblivious to what was happening around them because they were engrossed in video games on iPads.
While the children were immersed in the “virtual world”, the parents made changes in the family. For example, in one family, the father replaced the bouquet of roses with yellow flowers, and the family photo on the wall was changed to a black and red picture right in front of the child.
In another family, the boy's parents and relatives were replaced by other people. One older sister was replaced by a boy carrying a plant and sitting at the dining table, while the other younger brother was replaced by an adult.
It seems that these visible changes might make the children notice and wonder, but these children are so absorbed in their video games that they don't even notice.
Once the setup is complete, a family member will disconnect the home wifi system. At this point, the children look up and are shocked to see that they are surrounded by strangers. Feeling confused, they immediately leave the table before rejoining their relatives in another room.

The video is actually an advertisement that Dolmio has released to the market. With the message: “Sometimes we need to disconnect from the Internet to connect (with each other), the Australian food company’s businessmen want to send a warning to parents when letting their children come into contact with and use technological devices too early and too often.
