Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education announced that it will not accept flowers or receive guests on November 20.
Mr. Le Hong Son - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City - has just issued document No. 4079/GDĐT-VP, stating that he will only accept electronic greeting cards to congratulate Vietnamese Teachers' Day on November 20, and will not accept congratulatory flowers at the agency's headquarters.
The document stated: “On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2017), the city's education and training sector would like to express its sincere thanks to leaders at all levels, parents, and units and individuals who have supported the school in the cause of educating people in the past time.
To celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day this year, the Department of Education and Training would like to not organize a reception for congratulatory delegations and not accept congratulatory flowers at the agency's headquarters.
The Department of Education and Training would like to receive the good feelings of your agencies and units through electronic greeting cards at the email address:[email protected]or[email protected]”.
