Department of Education and Training signed a cooperation agreement with the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, DirectorDepartment of Education and TrainingThai Van Thanh said: The education career is a glorious, honorable and proud career of cultivating people, but it is also very difficult. To do this task well, the Nghe An Education Department always determines that the teaching staff determines the quality of education.

For that reason, in recent years, in parallel with professional work, the industry has always paid attention to the lives of teachers, especially teachers in remote areas, border areas, and islands.

Accompanying the Education sector, over the years, the sector has always received attention and support from the Provincial Federation of Labor, such as giving gifts,teacher support, students in disadvantaged areas, organize dialogues with teachers and workers.

Based on the achieved results, the signing ceremony of the cooperation program for the period 2022 - 2026 is of great significance, both strengthening the close relationship between the two units and aiming to better perform the professional tasks of the two sectors.

Agreeing with the above opinion, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation also affirmed that this is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day. This is also the first time the signing between the two sectors has been implemented, but before that, the two units had many coordinated activities that achieved many remarkable results and had a widespread impact throughout the sector.

From the results achieved, the Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation believes that in the coming time, the activities of the two sectors will become more and more practical and effective. From there, we will do a better job of taking care of the lives of cadres, teachers, and workers, implementing democracy in schools, advising on mechanisms and policies for civil servants and workers in the education sector, and doing well in emulation movements... This is also one of the bases to contribute to improving the quality of education in the province.

According to the signed program, in the period of 2022 - 2026, the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Federation of Labor will carry out 6 coordination contents and 9 activities. In particular, focusing on effectively implementing lifelong learning activities; researching and proposing policies for union members who are teachers, staff, and managers of educational institutions; proposing mechanisms and policies for the development of schools in industrial parks, export processing zones, economic zones, especially preschools and primary schools; coordinating in the work of inspecting and supervising the implementation of legal policies related to the rights, obligations, and legitimate and legal interests of teachers; coordinating in organizing emulation movements and campaigns; promptly encouraging, praising, and rewarding cadres and teachers in implementing emulation movements and campaigns; Coordinate to take care of the material and spiritual life of teachers and workers, especially teachers and workers in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas...

Some coordinated activities:

The two units will organize training courses to improve IT skills for full-time union officials in the province-wide union system; guide enterprises in districts and sectors to build internal networks and e-learning systems to train and improve professional skills for workers, thereby replicating the model.

Directing educational institutions to regularly organize cultural teaching, open training classes to improve academic qualifications, professional skills, expertise, IT, foreign languages, politics, law, and life skills suitable to the needs of employees, especially workers and laborers in enterprises.

Implement the Program "1 million initiatives to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic" in educational institutions; organize provincial-level competitions and exams according to regulations for teachers and employees in the education sector; support funding for the construction of 1 teacher housing...
