From 2002 to now, Yen Thanh has had 1,227 people who have completed their prison sentences and returned to their local residence. With the efforts of all levels, sectors and localities, after 3 years of implementing Decree 80 of the Government on ensuring community reintegration for people who have completed their prison sentences, Yen Thanh district has made positive changes in the community's awareness of people who have completed their prison sentences; the management, education and assistance of people who have completed their prison sentences have been strictly ensured and in accordance with regulations. The district government has provided counseling, career guidance, vocational training, loan support and job placement for reintegrated people, actively participated in crime prevention and control, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area...

In particular, over the past 3 years, departments, branches, organizations and localities have organized to reform 259 typical progressive subjects, coordinated to provide legal advice and assistance to 620 people who have completed their prison sentences; organized vocational training, helped with vocational training, created jobs, and provided loans for economic development with an amount of 568 million VND.
