Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment opens Pickleball tournament to celebrate 50 years of Southern Liberation Day
On the morning of April 19, in Vinh city, Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment organized the opening ceremony of the Pickleball tournament for the department block.
This is an activity that creates a joyful and exciting playground for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, practically celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).
The Pickleball tournament also aims to encourage and promote the movement of physical education, sports, training and improving health, improving physical strength, as well as enhancing exchange, connection, solidarity, and sharing among cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers, promoting the completion of the common tasks of the industry.
There are 18 teams competing in the tournament, of which 12 teams compete in mixed doubles and 8 teams compete in men's doubles.
The competition format is divided into groups, round robin to calculate points, thereby selecting the first and second teams in each group to compete in the quarter-finals and finals, with a total of 34 matches.
The award structure includes 6 main prizes: First, Second, Third for each category of men's and women's doubles; 6 secondary prizes: Most impressive pair, pair with best costume, promising pair.
The Pickleball Tournament of Nghe An Department of Agriculture and Environment will end and award prizes on April 26, 2025.
