Nghe An Department of Finance proposes to issue 21 new administrative procedures

(Baonghean.vn) - The Department of Finance is one of the key units implementing administrative reforms in Nghe An province. Currently, in addition to cutting down administrative procedures, the Department is also preparing to supplement administrative procedures related to decentralization of public asset management.

According to the report of Nghe An Department of Finance, the Department has reviewed and is submitting a supplement to the set of Administrative Procedures under its management, including: Proposing to issue 21 new procedures (20 procedures in the field of Price & Public Asset Management, 1 procedure in the field of Investment Finance); proposing to amend and supplement 2 procedures (Procedures in the field of financial consulting support and the field of Price & Public Asset Management); proposing to keep 1 procedure unchanged (in the field of Information Technology - Office).

Of which, there are 12 district-level administrative procedures in the field of Price and Public Asset management proposed for new issuance.

These new administrative procedures are expected to be consulted by the Provincial People's Committee to issue at the end of July 2018, after the Provincial People's Council passes the Resolution on decentralization of public asset management. In this Resolution, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee decides to renovate, repair and upgrade works attached to land of small-scale provincial agencies, organizations and units with an estimated value of 500 million VND to less than 5 billion VND/repair at the request of the Department of Finance; Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts, cities and towns decide to renovate, repair and upgrade works attached to land of agencies, organizations and units under the district level with an estimated value of less than 500 million VND/repair at the request of the Finance agency at the same level.

Recently, the Department of Finance has also reduced the time for handling specific administrative procedures: Shortening 20% ​​of the time for handling administrative procedures related to centralized procurement procedures (from 5 days to 4 days); Reducing 33% of the time for issuing Certificates of registration of codes for units related to the State budget (from 3 days to 1 day) to help individuals and organizations speed up the process of handling administrative procedures.

The Department coordinates with VNPT and the Department of Information and Communications to review and upgrade 1 administrative procedure from level 3 to level 4; at the same time, develop a draft project to arrange and streamline the organizational apparatus according to current regulations.
