The Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City has received a complaint from singer Huong Tram accusing the person who spread the rumor that she went to the US to give birth and is in the process of processing it.
On the afternoon of June 6, at a regular press conference in Ho Chi Minh City, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City informed about the case of singer Huong Tram (full name Pham Thi Huong Tram) who filed a complaint against the person spreading rumors that she went to the US to give birth.
According to the HCM City Department of Information and Communications, the unit is in the process of receiving and processing the application and has not yet had any results. When the results are available, the Department will inform you later.
In the complaint sent by singer Huong Tram to the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City on May 23, it was stated that recently, social networks have been spreading with high density information and photos of Huong Tram with two children and headlines for news articles saying that she was "pregnant", "gave birth to twins", "gave birth to a rich man's child", "gave birth in America"...

Huong Tram said that the above titles and information attracted a large number of viewers and followers, along with thousands of negative comments, defaming, insulting, and offending the honor of the female singer and her family members.
The incident has not shown any signs of stopping, negatively affecting her personal life and public image. Many customers have canceled their cooperation in using services, images, and brand representation with Huong Tram.
Huong Tram said that the websites and social media accounts she mentioned in the documents attached to her complaint had posted false information, slandered her, and insulted her honor and dignity.
In addition, Huong Tram also contacted and directly reported the incident to the Police Department and the Thu Duc City Police Department and Ho Chi Minh City Police Department received the criminal complaint. Accordingly, the complaint and related documents will be reported and transferred to the competent authority for consideration and settlement according to the law.
Huong Tram (born 1995) won the first season of The Voice Vietnam. In early 2019, she held her first live show called Mailbox No. 1 in Hanoi. She is also a Vietnamese artist who won the Mnet Asian Music Award and 2 Dedication Awards.
