(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 25, the inspection team led by Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong - Deputy Director of the Department of Health inspected the measles vaccination and measles vaccination in Quynh Luu district.
As of 4pm on April 24, Quynh Luu district had 15 cases of measles, including 1 death related to measles. According to the investigation, the number of children needing to be vaccinated during this period is 2,309, and 1,317 have been vaccinated. It is expected that the remaining children will be vaccinated by the end of April 25.

On behalf of the inspection team, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hong - Deputy Director of the Department of Health directed the units to focus on screening children before vaccination; at the same time, step up propaganda work to help people understand the importance of vaccination for children, especially emphasizing the necessity of measles vaccination, how to detect measles; how to care for measles patients; Medical Centers need to proactively coordinate with district general hospitals to detect, monitor cases, and promptly treat them to avoid spreading to the community.
