The Nghe An Department of Health stated that forged documents regarding food safety inspection and supervision by provincial Departments of Health have appeared in many localities across the country.
On October 1st, the Nghe An Department of Health issued document No. 3277/SYT-TTR warning about fraudulent activities in food safety inspections to the People's Committees of districts, towns, and Vinh City, and the Food Safety and Hygiene Sub-Department of Nghe An province.
The document states: Recently, in many localities across the country, there has been a situation where some production, processing, and business establishments have been operating.foodReceived a forged document: Decision to establish a Food Safety Inspection and Monitoring Team from the Department of Health of provinces and cities.
To proactively prevent fraud and property misappropriation, the Nghe An Department of Health requests the People's Committees of districts, towns, and Vinh City to strengthen information and propaganda work on legal regulations in food safety inspection, examination, and supervision activities, and how to identify forged documents. This is to raise awareness among food production, processing, and business establishments in the area, enabling them to promptly detect and report fraudulent acts to local police agencies to prevent and handle them in food safety inspection, examination, and supervision in particular and the health sector in general.
Direct the People's Committees of communes, wards, and towns to inform food production, processing, and business establishments, as well as food service businesses under their management, about fraudulent acts and impersonation of state management agencies on food safety, so that they can proactively prevent and participate in reporting crimes.
