On the morning of May 27, the Vietnam Military Medical Association, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital and Nghe An Department of Health held a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in supporting the improvement of grassroots medical capacity in Nghe An province, period 2023 - 2028.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham Le Tuan - Chairman of the Vietnam Military Medical Association, former Deputy Minister of Health; Dong Van He - Deputy Director of Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital; Pham Xuan Thang - Vice Rector of Hanoi Medical University.
On the side of Nghe An province, there was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long.

Signing of cooperation between Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association, Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital and Department of HealthNghe AnAiming at the following goals: Raising awareness of people and communities to proactively prevent common health risk factors, to prevent diseases, protect the health of individuals, families and communities; supporting the improvement of facilities, organizing training courses, and capacity building for health stations, people's awareness in the work of protecting, caring for, improving public health and health management according to the principles of family medicine; participating in the work of preventing and fighting epidemics and providing post-epidemic health care, especially Covid-19, dengue fever and other dangerous epidemics.
Specifically, in the period of 2023-2028, the Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association will preside over cooperation activities; call for sponsors and support projects to improve facilities and equipment for medical stations; coordinate the organization of training courses and technology transfer (directly combined with online) on professional capacity for medical staff.baseNghe An province; consulting on the model of organizing and operating health stations according to the principles of family medicine.

The Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association coordinates with organizations and units participating in providing consulting services, volunteer activities for people's health care and with the Military-Civilian Medical Association of Nghe An province to organize conferences and seminars on health education in accordance with current regulations; exchange information, experience, and technical expertise, in order to improve the quality and effectiveness in protecting and caring for the health of the people and the armed forces, contributing to socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security.
Hanoi Medical University and Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital will send staff to teach, consult, examine and treat patients at the medical station in Nghe An according to the annual plan; create conditions for professional practice locations for staff and employees of the medical station; provide training materials and training related to teaching content; participate in common activities of the Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association in the province according to the proposal of the Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association.

Nghe An Department of Health coordinates with Vietnam-Germany Friendship Hospital and Hanoi Medical University to agree on the content of the cooperation and support plan; coordinates with the Military-Civilian Medical Board, the Military-Civilian Medical Association of Nghe An province and local departments, branches and organizations to implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation; selects medical facilities to implement as pilot facilities.
Nghe An Department of Health directs and guides district-level health centers to select health stations, identify support needs (facilities, equipment, list of staff needing professional training, etc.); directs district health centers to directly participate in organizing medical examination and treatment sessions at health stations when there are medical staff from higher levels to support according to the plan; directs units to send health station staff to participate in training and coaching according to each content; coordinates with relevant parties to organize training and coaching for grassroots health staff; participates in common activities of the Vietnam Military-Civilian Medical Association in the province.
