Checking cars through checkpoints, discovering drugs and guns
Lu Khanh Phong, 36 years old, was driving through a Covid-19 checkpoint when the police stopped him and searched his car, finding drugs, metal guns, and rubber bullets.

Phong was discovered last week when he was stopped by a checkpoint while driving a 7-seater car with his friend to the Phuoc Long bridge area. He did not have a driving permit so he was fined.

During the investigation, the police discovered that Phong had many suspicious signs, so they conducted an administrative check. In the car, the task force found many nylon bags of crystal meth, ketamine, and a metal gun that fired rubber bullets.
Recently, also at this checkpoint, the control team stopped a 4-seater car driven by Tran Thinh Vuong (23 years old). Seeing the driver acting suspiciously, the police checked and found 3 bags of crystal meth and many ecstasy pills in the car...
