SHOCK: Roma knew they would meet Liverpool in the Champions League semi-finals?

The Champions League semi-final draw has been successfully completed. The matches in this round will be a fateful encounter between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, the remaining match will be between AS Roma and Liverpool.

Notably, the draw only took place at 6pm on April 13 (Vietnam time). But its result coincided with an announcement by Roma Club in the morning.

In a ticket purchase guide sent to Roma fans, Serie A representatives listed Liverpool as their opponents. This led to a question about whether the draw results were fixed and leaked or just a coincidence. UEFA and Roma have not yet announced any information on this.

The clash between Liverpool and Roma is notable as Mohamed Salah will return to face his former club for the first time. The Egyptian striker joined the Anfield team last summer for £38 million from Roma. So far, Salah has had a very successful season, scoring 39 goals for The Kop.

"I was walking up the stairs and someone told me Roma were in the semi-finals. I really thought it was a joke," Salah said after the quarter-final second leg ended. "It's not that I don't respect Roma, on the contrary, they are a great team. They beat a tough opponent (Barca), that's a big thing."
