After midnight, farmers in Xuan Hoa commune (Nam Dan district) and neighboring areas prepare to transport their goods to the New Market to sell. This is a unique market that only opens at around 3am every day. At this market, the main items for sale are green vegetables such as mustard greens, water spinach, eggplant, bitter melon, etc., along with other agricultural products grown by local people. |

To participate in the market, both buyers and sellers must bring flashlights to trade. Xuan Hoa night market originated from a spontaneous buying and selling meeting of a group of people on the side of Highway 46. Later, due to the lack of security, order and traffic safety, the commune government mobilized them to come here. |

The market starts from around 3am to 6am every day, right in front of the gate of the New Market in Xuan Hoa commune. At first, only about a dozen people participated in buying and selling, the goods were mainly green vegetables. Gradually, more and more people came here to sell, buyers also came from many other places, the goods also became more diverse. |

In nearly 3 hours, tons of agricultural products were bought and sold through the hands of small traders. For about 2 years now, the night market in Xuan Hoa commune has played the role of a miniature wholesale market, contributing significantly to helping local farmers consume vegetables and agricultural products. |

Mr. Ho Manh Hung - Chairman of Xuan Hoa Commune said that in the past, some people gathered and held markets on the side of National Highway 46, causing disorder and traffic safety problems, so the commune mobilized them to move here. To create favorable conditions for people to trade, the commune also assigned regular police to direct traffic, maintain security and order, and assigned the New Market Management Board to manage and do daily environmental sanitation work. |
