Exciting traditional boat racing festival at Con Temple
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of the second day of Tet (February 17), thousands of locals and tourists came to Lach Con estuary, Quynh Phuong ward, Hoang Mai town to watch and cheer for the traditional boat racing festival.
Participating in the boat racing festival are 11 racing teams with more than 260 athletes from all blocks in the ward. The athletes are experienced fishermen with good health.

The boat racing festival has become a long-standing cultural and spiritual beauty of Quynh Phuong ward residents; demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and community, conveying the fishermen's wishes for smooth sailing trips and full boats of fish and shrimp.
The festival includes main activities such as: swimming with clams, swimming with markers, swimming for gold medals.
