Toyota is reinventing itself, this time they're really determined with the 2018 Camry.

Toyota has always been accused of making boring cars, the 2018 Camry will be a big step to help the company escape that reputation. Above is a quick review of the pros and cons of the 2018 Camry in the journey to reassert itself of this sedan line.

Advantage

Driving experience:The all-new structure of the 2018 Camry gives the car a sportier look. By lowering the center of gravity, increasing structural rigidity, and completely upgrading the chassis, the new Camry is said to be much more powerful than previous versions.

''Acceleration is no problem at all with the engine and eight-speed transmission. You get the feeling they were developed by a team of professionals who worked together so well together, they work so perfectly,'' said Craig Colde, a car reviewer. ''There's never been a Camry that delivers such a great driving experience, which is sure to please new buyers and surprise long-time customers.''

Engine: There are 3 engine options for this new Camry. The standard version will be a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with 203 horsepower and 250Nm of torque. More powerful, the Camry will be equipped with a V6 engine with 301 horsepower and 362Nm of torque. Finally, for optimal efficiency, the Camry will also be equipped with a hybrid using a continuously variable transmission. Other versions will use an 8-speed automatic transmission.

Fuel economy:The Camry LE gets 26 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway, and 32 mpg combined. Those numbers beat the CVT-equipped Honda Accord, which gets 32 mpg in the city, 32 mpg on the highway, and 32 mpg combined.

New design:''We wanted to make the car more attractive,'' said Ian Cartabiano, Toyota's director of design research. The new exterior still has a lot of the old Camry's style, but with this new design, whether you like it or not, it won't be considered boring. This new style is also carried into the interior, making the car more upscale than its name and value.''

The safe car:The 2018 Toyota Camry has been awarded the IIHS Top Safety Pick+. All 2018 Camry models come standard with Safety Sense P, Toyota's suite of driver assistance features. This includes pedestrian collision avoidance, cruise control, lane departure warning, and anti-dazzle LED lights. Some models come with blind spot sensors, rear cross traffic alert, and a parking camera. A rearview camera is standard on Camrys.

Assembled in USA:Camrys will be assembled in Georgetown, Kentucky.

Disadvantages

Not equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto:Toyota is the only automaker that doesn't offer this feature, but that's not entirely a bad thing, as the Camry's system is user-friendly and uses standard navigation. The Camry also comes with 4G LTE connectivity, so it can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot. Toyota uses its own smartphone connectivity, so those using Apple CarPlay or Android Auto will need to have the app.

The Accord has a larger trunk.: If cargo is a big issue for the driver, the Honda Accrod has a larger trunk (472 liters) than the new Camry (427 liters).

The Accord is more affordable:The new Camry in the US costs 24,390 USD (about 536 million VND) while the Honda Accord costs 23,330 USD (about 513 million VND). This is not a huge difference but it is enough to make many customers hesitate./.
