Sooner or later the people of Russia and Ukraine will restore relations.
(Baonghean.vn) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said: "The Anglo-Saxons have always feared our unity and they have long tried to create contradictions between us and push us into a fierce fratricidal war."

Russia's TASS news agency reported on May 15 that Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin believes that sooner or later, Russians and Ukrainians will restore relations. In an interview with News.ru posted on the Foreign Ministry's website, he pointed out: "Sooner or later, relations between Russia and Ukraine will return to the right track. People will find common ground, even if it takes time."
The diplomat added: "Washington and London have long dreamed of driving a wedge between the peoples of our two countries. The Anglo-Saxons have always feared our unity and have long tried to create a rift between us and push us into a fierce fratricidal war. This is what happened in the civil war of the early 20th century and something similar is happening now. However, no matter how the West tries to destroy our centuries-old unity, it will not succeed."
Deputy Minister Galuzin stressed that Russians and Ukrainians are united by centuries-old history, religion and family ties. "For centuries, we have stood side by side through thick and thin. We fought together against a common enemy and worked together to raise our homeland from the ruins. This bond cannot be destroyed," he added.
According to Mr. Galuzin, the West considers both Russians and Ukrainians “unimportant.” The senior Russian diplomat concluded: “Westerners do not see any difference between Russians and Ukrainians. They do not care about us. For them, we are not unimportant people. The sooner ordinary people in Ukraine realize where the real danger comes from and what the roots of evil are, the sooner they will overcome the artificial barriers between us.”
