Son Heung Min cried a lot when he dislocated Andre Gomes' ankle
Everton FC has released the latest information about midfielder Andre Gomes' injury after the match between Everton and Tottenham.
"Everton Football Club can confirm Andre Gomes will undergo surgery on Monday, November 4, after sustaining an ankle injury during the match against Tottenham Hotspur," Everton said in a statement.
"Gomes left the pitch on a stretcher in the second half and was taken to hospital by ambulance with Everton medical staff. After examination, Gomes was diagnosed with a dislocated right ankle."
Gomes will need surgery after a collision with Tottenham striker Son Heung-min. Gomes was said to have been unconscious for several minutes on the pitch after suffering the injury.

Gomes' injury was partly caused by him losing his balance after being tackled by Son and running straight into Tottenham defender Serge Aurier. Son was later sent off and Aurier was also substituted by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
After undergoing surgery, Gomes is at risk of being out of action for a long time. He has only played 7 matches this season, without scoring or assisting any goals.
Son cried immediately after the fierce tackle. Coach Pochettino revealed that his player was devastated after causing serious injury to his opponent.
Sharing after the match, player Dele Alli added: "Son Heung Min felt devastated and he cried a lot."
Tottenham, who played away at Everton, opened the scoring in the second half through Dele Alli. However, being reduced to 10 men after Son's red card meant Spurs conceded a goal in the final minutes. The two teams left the field with a 1-1 draw.
