After 3 rounds of V.League 2023,Lam River Nghe Ancould not win. That greatly affected the mentality of Nghe An players, as well as the race to the top 8 strongest teams after the end of the first leg of Song Lam Nghe An.

Before the match, former national player Nguyen Trong Hoang set a goal of winning 3 points at 19/8 Nha Trang Stadium to regain the trust of fans.
