Song Lam Nghe An appoints head coach Pham Anh Tuan to replace Nhu Thuat

After the meeting between the Club's Board of Directors and the Song Lam Nghe An Coaching Board on May 11, 2024, the Club agreed to appoint Coach Pham Anh Tuan to replace Coach Phan Nhu Thuat as Head Coach from Round 18 of V.League 2023/24. Accordingly, Coach Phan Nhu Thuat will continue in the role of Assistant Head Coach.

Coach Pham Anh Tuan is a former player of Song Lam Nghe An. After retiring, Mr. Tuan switched to coaching and is said to have experience when he led Hai Phong Club to compete in V.League. In addition, this coach born in 1970 also spent many years as assistant head coach of many different clubs.

Song Lam Nghe An is having a terrible season. After 8 matches played in V.League 2023/2024, the club has not known the taste of victory. The Vinh home team is ranked second to last in the rankings and faces the risk of having to compete for a play-off ticket.
