Song Lam Nghe An won their first victory in the 2024/25 season

Entering the second half, after taking the lead, coach Phan Nhu Thuat proactively let his players deploy a defensive counter-attacking style of play. However, despite applying this tactic, Song Lam Nghe An still created dangerous attacks in front of Da Nang's goal. In the 65th minute, Xuan Tien made a technical pass to Kuku to handle the ball properly, before shooting into the top corner of the opponent's goal. However, from a distance of nearly 16m, the kick of the striker wearing the number 10 shirt was successfully blocked by goalkeeper Van Bieu.

In the final minutes of the match, the Vinh home team proactively lowered their formation to ensure the result. Therefore, the match ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of Song Lam Nghe An.

With this result, coach Phan Nhu Thuat's team has entered the Quarterfinals of the 2024/25 National Cup.
