According to the results of the draw for the V.League 2025/26 schedule taking place on the afternoon of July 14 in Hanoi, Song Lam Nghe An will travel to Tam Ky Stadium to face Quang Nam in the opening round.
On the afternoon of July 14, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) held a draw ceremony and scheduled the matches for the National Football Championship for the 2025/26 season. The ceremony was broadcast live on the FPT Play system and VPF's media platforms, attracting the attention of many fans and experts.

Specifically, clubs participating in club tournaments of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) are allowed to register a maximum of 7 foreign players in the list of players for the season. Meanwhile, the remaining clubs are allowed to register a maximum of 4 foreign players. However, in each match, all teams are only allowed to register a maximum of 4 foreign players, and only use a maximum of 3 foreign players on the field at the same time.
